How to select a database engine.

No doubt- programmers, even those doing hard core games, are going to need database software sooner or later. Indeed, for any of you who shudder at the idea of databases, there is no reason for you to create a file format and structure for storing data. Ever. Even using the built in memory table (as limited as it is) provided by the Turbo Language is better than writing your own data handling.
